Do you receive and record documents in public records? If so, please watch this video to learn more about the advantages of eRecording.
In an increasingly digitized society, eRecording has permanently revolutionized the landscape of the property records industry. Before its arrival, documents were exclusively walked in by the document submitter or delivered via mail, courier or overnight delivery service to the county recorder/register of deed's office. The recording clerk would then review the document(s) for any mistakes and/or ommissions, and, assuming none are found, assign it an identification number (such as an Official Record Book/Page or File Number). The document would then be passed on to another department in order to create an image of the document before being indexed by yet another department.
eRecording with e-Docs Solutions reduces the amount of steps needed to validate a document and have it recorded in your legacy system. Costs are reduced while increasing office productivity and reducing foot traffic.
